Seeking Help Can Be Hard. You're Not Alone.
Making the decision to seek help/enter counseling can be a difficult decision, often with feelings of fear, overwhelm and discouragement. Therapy should help you first understand what drove you to reach out for help, and then provide a comfortable space to discuss what you’d like to be different. Working together to identify treatment goals, and an approach, you’ll gain confidence in the process and hopefulness in a positive outcome.
Children & Teens
Therapy for children, teens, and adolescents can help them understand resolve problems, modify behavior, navigate life transitions, and make positive changes. Clients get help identifying and believing in their value to better enjoy life.
Adults & Couples
Learn tools to deal with anxiety and depression (among others) through therapeutic tools such as CBT, DBT and Mindfulness. Find out how your environment plays a role in your mental health and develop coping skills.
Families
Parents and families are included when appropriate to help develop treatment plans and intervention strategies. A strength-based framework is used to enable families to build skills to be their most functional.
Meet Tana.
I work with kids, adolescents, and adults, individually and in relationships. I have experience working with depression and other mood disorders, suicidality, anxiety, personality disorders, thought disorders and neurodiverse disorders. My background in emergency services allows me to work comfortably in intense situations, work efficiently to stabilize, and find avenues to comforting clients/families in crisis. I strive to create balance in my practice rather than focusing heavily on any single population
A little more about my practice ...
Welcome! I am pleased to have the opportunity to work together. I am an independently licensed clinical social worker, practicing with other clinicians under the name The Biltmore Wellness Collective. This is an association of independently practicing professionals which shares certain expenses and facilities. While the members share a name and office space, we are completely independent in providing clinical services. Professional records are separately maintained and no member of the group can have access to them without your specific, written permission.
Below is a link to my disclosure agreement, which contains important information about my professional counseling/therapeutic services and business policies, including my background, treatment offered, fees, cancellations, and treatment agreement(s), which you must read and sign to in order to participate in treatment. The purpose of this information is to help you make an informed decision about participating in treatment.
